We were actually looking for a red bag and settled for the pink when we could not find that color (after I ordered this bag, we saw a red one in a mall in a different city). The bag has been a good one, the only problem my daughter had with the bag is after a short while, the pink began to discolor and although in every other way, the bag was good, it did not look good. It looked old very fast. Anyway, thanks for your concern. As far as bags go, JanSport is all we buy and think it is a great product. Think Pink! This bag makes an excellent carry-on, stowing well under the seat. It can also be a great bag for a weekend trip. I took my mother for an overnight trip and it held all of both our things quite nicely. The bag was bigger than I expected. Even with my hair dryer, I could fill the bag only about half full. I have not used it. I chose instead to use a smaller bag which held all my cosmetics, but not the hair dryer. I know that we have a good return policy; but with shipping and the restocking fee, I would receive very little in the return. I will see if a friend can use the bag. I only used it for a two week vacation and already one of the seams has begun to unravel. Other than that, I liked all the pockets and thought the size was perfect. Provides ultra-organization for your toiletries and includes a free cosmetic tote.

One thing about this about this particular bag that I think they should share on the description is the size of the side cell pocket! I read in a previous testimonial that it is small, but that person did not mention the dimensions. They are from top to bottom (exterior) 5 inches, and side to side at the bottom 2 1/8".
